Broan QS136SS Allure (36")
If there’s one word that could describe this range hood, it would be decent. The Broan QS136SS Allure is a straightforward ‘what you see is what you get’ range hood. It’s nothing fancy, but it does a decent job at venting out/recirculating the air pollutants at an acceptable noise level. With it’s stainless steel exterior and rounded edges, the Broan QS136SS Allure looks… (wait for it)… decent. It probably won’t be the centerpiece of your kitchen, but it also won’t stand out like a sore thumb. Even it’s pricing is decent: very affordable but not bargain bin cheap.
With regard to the flaws of the Broan QS136SS Allure, there are definitely some drawbacks. Although the stainless steel finish is nice, it is also quite thin. That in itself shouldn’t be a problem, but when installing the range hood, the stainless steel seems to bend easily. During installation, many people have found out they need an electric cable clamp, but apparently Broan hasn’t included one in the packaging.
All in all, the Broan QS136SS will give you great value for your money. For this price you can’t really go wrong with this range hood.
