We find it incredibly refreshing to see a company like ExtremeAIR have faith in their product to an extent that they are willing to provide customers with a 10 year warranty on their motor. This automatically makes the XtremeAIR PX07-I42 island range hood a safe bet for anyone.
With 900CFM under the hood, the ExtremeAIR PX07-I42 is a powerful island mount range hood. Its 1.0 mm thick stainless steel body makes it feel like a solid piece of quality engineering. The quality of the range hood is very noticeable. Aside from the powerful motor, with a maximum output of 6 sones, the ExtremeAIR PX07-I42 is a surprisingly quiet machine (relatively speaking).
We were also very surprised with the amount of light the ExtremeAIR PX07-I42 provides. With six 2W LED bulbs, this range hood provides the best lighting of any of the XtremeAir range hoods.
Obviously, all this quality comes at a price. A monetary price. Even though the XtremeAIR PX07-I42 isn’t as expensive as some other high end chimney island range hoods, it might still put a dent in your budget.
